If you’re arriving at Fukuoka Airport and heading to the city center, this step-by-step subway guide will help you reach Hakata Station easily—even if it’s your first time in Japan. ✨
Where Is Fukuoka Airport Station?
Fukuoka Airport has two terminals: International and Domestic.
The subway station is located on the basement level of the Domestic Terminal.
🛬 If You Arrive at the International Terminal:
- Go to Bus Stop #5 and take the free shuttle bus to the Domestic Terminal (approx. 10 min)
- Get off at “Domestic Terminal / South Bus Stop”
- Use Exit 1A or 1B to go downstairs
- You’ll find the subway gates directly ahead
⚠️ You cannot walk between terminals. Be sure to allow extra time during rush hours.

🛬 If You Arrive at the Domestic Terminal:
- From the South Side of the Arrival Lobby, take the escalator or elevator to the basement
- The subway gate is right there—super easy!

The fare from Fukuoka Airport Station to Hakata Station is:
